SKEPS-GT Guard Tour Management System
SKEPS-GT (GT) is an online patrolling management system
developed based on SKEPS platform. It shares the same management
application and database as Door Access System (DAS), Monitoring
System (MS), Time Attendance System (TC), Payment Management
System (POS), Human Tracking System (HTS) and etc. Please
read the SKEPS Security Management Platform Manual for preliminary
understanding and make sure that SKEPS system (at least
CC and DAS) is pre-installed before using GT.

Before setting up any guard tour points, one need to setup
controllers and access points using DAS so as to add in
departments and staffs. Then only use GT application to
decide whichever access point to be used as guard tour point
and whoever staff to be in the patrolling team.
Guard tour route is a formation of several guard tour points.
Dragging the point to the electronic map will give the patrolling
guard a clearer view of the patrolling situation. The patrol
routing can be set to “fixed” or “flexible” via system setting.
For ease administer, several patrolling groups consist
of few patrolling guards can be setup. In GT application,
3 important phrases to take note are: “Shift”, “Shift Order”
and “Shift Setting, for the convenient of schedule allocation.

A shift is formed from patrolling route, start time and
end time. It can be fixed or flexible. Several shifts added
in order to form a “Shift Order”. Last but not least, assign
the order to group of patrolling groups.
During every shift duty, as long as a guard from the patrolling
group flash his card will do, need not have all members
from the group to flash their card on every point. But,
once a person has flashed his card on the first point, he
must carry out the inspection for all points, no interchanging
of patrolling points half way through.
Current day “Guard Tour Shift” is displayed on the control
interface. Double click on the shift route will lead to
electronic map to have a clearer view on which point had
been inspect and which point occurred alarm (did not reach
at pre-defined time).
Guard tour schedule at “System Setting” >>> “System
Schedule” is use to facilitate management personnel to administer
GT operator to properly allocate patrolling group and patrolling
frequency fulfilling request. For instance, require to strengthen
the patrolling during the festive season.
GT will automatically record patrol task to date. If PC
is not power up for 3 days and power up on the 4th day,
GT will automatically generate the last 3 days records.
System supports multi-clients, but the 1st one to register
on CC will have the privilege of managing patrolling task,
the later that register with CC can only monitor the activities
