Census® Tags
Cryptag ® Census® tags can be simultaneously
interrogated with no loss of fidelity. The RF communication
between each Cryptag® and Reader is scrambled
to eliminate the chance of simulated tokens being
used. Battery low indication is a standard feature
and future tags will be designed to enable battery
replacement.
Cryptag's
® patented technology
offers many benefits to system designers, integrators
and end users. Not least of these is that the tags
do not interfere with other electronic surveillance
systems causing false alarms etc. The typical error
rate for Cryptag®
Census® is 1:100
million in worst case noise, this is significantly
better than any other tag systems. Finally Cryptag®Census®
tags can be supplied with either a fixed one time
programmed 32 bit or 64 bit code, strict factory audits
ensure no two tags are issued with the same ID number.
Census®
Readers
The Cryptag® Census®
Reader can simultaneously interrogate tags up to 1.2
metres from the Reader housing. This range can be
increased using external aerial loops to over 3.0
metres. The RF communication between each Cryptag®
Census® Tag and Reader is scrambled to eliminate
the chance of simulated tokens being used. The Electronics
can be configured with number output options including
Wiegand, Clock & Data, RS232, RS422 RS485. Indeed
it is possible to provide two dissimilar outputs on
the same unit (eg Wiegand and RS232) enabling two
data acquisition systems to be addressed simultaneously.
The Readers can be configured to provide a tag counter
display, local print option, local alarm output, direction
sensing (CR1-DS & CR1-DS1) information and much
more.

the reading ranges quoted are typical operating ranges
assuming the tags are presented to the Reader in the
best orientation and with no interference from nearby
metal or electrical noise.
CR1A-MUX
Series Reader:
These readers can be connected up to 16 antenna and
also configured into one output or two output in the
factory.These readers are mostly used for very wide
gate to tracking human or article.
